Matthew Wideman obtained his brokers designation in the State of Michigan in the spring of 2013. He has over 20 years’ experience in real estate sales, commercial sales and leasing, real estate investing and property management, or related fields. He has a degree in liberal arts from Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City. In his younger years, Matthew resided in many parts of the great state of Michigan including Marquette, Mackinaw Island, Leelanau County, and Grand Rapids before returning to his hometown of Saginaw to raise his family and establish a business career. He takes great pride in his understanding of different real estate markets, particularly northern Michigan, and has closed transactions in 17 different Michigan Counties. Aside from his role as Founder and principle broker of Bluewater Realty, Matthew owns and operates a property maintenance snd project management company. Matthew was an officer of the Saginaw Economic Development corporation and former board Member of the Saginaw Area Catholic Schools. When he’s not spending time with his family or working, Matthew spends considerable time and energy coaching youth athletics, working on community enrichment projects and widespread conservation efforts.
